Post - Launch Magazine Research
Background
This new title had launched successfully, however the editor and publisher felt there was still potential to reach a wider target. They therefore commissioned us to research to assess the appeal of the magazine amongst a wider audience, as well as to provide feedback on the content, layout, tone, informative-ness, attitude and fun in the magazine.

Objectives
To assess the appeal of the title amongst a) buyers, and b) target buyers; to clarify (or confirm) the core target market; to provide guidance for future editorial development of the magazine

Approach
A series of discussions was held with buyers and target buyers around the UK. Target buyers were asked to bring the titles they currently read, and these were mapped against the launched title.

Outcome
Strengths and weaknesses of the new title against its competition were identified, the perceived role of the title assessed, and feedback on the content -  editorial, features, information, directories etc., layout, covers, and communication given.
